Mystery night in Brighton with stories by Madeleine Woosnam and Sonja Eagle.

Madeleine Woosnam and Sonja Eagle were shortlisted for the 'Are you sitting comfortably?' performance evening at the Winchester Discovery Centre. Subsequently they were invited to have their short stories considered for inclusion in a 'White Rabbit presents...' show in Brighton on the 13th March with the theme, 'Mystery' and the good news is - their stories were accepted!

Sonja writes:

'Madeleine and I were lucky enough to have our stories selected for the The White Rabbit Production of 'Are you sitting Comfortably' in the Brighton venue. I went along to represent both of us.  The Basement is a Theatre is in the North Laines area of Brighton, for those who don't know it its a very bohemian part of the city. Full of quirky shops and restaurants.  The atmosphere was brilliant, soft lighting and gentle music and little tables set with flowers, teacups,  sweets and cakes.  The theatre was crowded and it felt  easy going and happy.

The White Rabbit Company read three sets of three stories.   Madeleine's story was read first and received a lot of applause.  There were a variety of stories on the theme of 'Mystery.'  My story was read second to last and seemed like a different story when it was read so well.    Altogether a really enjoyable evening.'

We say, 'Well done to Madeleine and Sonja.'
